Obstetrics & Gynecology
Antenatal care, normal and caesarean delivery, high-risk pregnancy monitoring and treatment of women's health disorders.

About the department
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is led by Dr. Pallavi Bansal, MBBS, DGO,FRM and cares for women through pregnancy, delivery and the years before and after it. The antenatal clinic runs daily, and delivery services are supported round the clock by the operation theatre and nursing team.
Anaemia, gestational diabetes and raised blood pressure remain common in this district and are the reason we push for early registration — ideally in the first trimester. Every antenatal visit records weight, blood pressure and haemoglobin, and the details are written in the mother's card in Hindi so the family can follow the plan at home.
On the gynaecology side the department treats menstrual disorders, PCOS, white discharge, fibroids, ovarian cysts and menopausal symptoms, with hysteroscopy and laparoscopy available where surgery is needed.
