Radiology & Imaging

Ultrasound, X-ray and CT imaging supporting urology, obstetrics and surgical decisions.

Radiology & Imaging facilities at Vidya Shanti Hospital

About the department

Radiology supports almost every department in the hospital. Ultrasound is used daily for kidney and bladder assessment, obstetric monitoring and follicular studies; X-ray and CT are used for stones, trauma and abdominal evaluation.

Because imaging is on the same campus, a patient with renal colic can usually be scanned, reported and given a treatment plan within the same visit rather than being sent out and asked to return.
